NTFL Men’s Super League Round 4 Concluded

The Southland Gators defeated the PINT Greenants by 109 points in a Men’s Super League game at TIO Stadium.

The Gators outscored the Greenants 18-2 in the first quarter with Matthew Mazzini dropping back, Jake McQueen surging forward and Jed Anderson controlling the ball well.

Anderson, a former Hawthorn and North Melbourne Utilities player, fired in three goals in the match, one of which came from deep in front of the boundary line.

St Mary’s beat the Rangers by 78 points at TIO Stadium on Sunday to make it three wins out of three after their opening round loss to Nettlecliffe.

The Darwin Bison made it three wins in a row with a 32-point thrashing of Palmerston at Kasuli Arena on Friday night.

Hassan Ahmet Watkins scored six goals for the Buffaloes, while Nick Yarran and Mitch Robinson also made big contributions.

Nightcliff defeated the Tiwi Bombers by 66 points on Saturday night at TIO Stadium.

Brett Kennedy and Michael Mummery each scored four goals for the Tigers, and Brodie Ferro was outstanding in the midfield.
