In March 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Cultivation of Traditional Food Production Area and Local Food Industry” (hereinafter referred to as “Guidance”).According to the requirements of the “Guidance”, “By 2025, the scale of traditional superior food production areas has continued to grow, and the quality and efficiency of the development of the local specialty food industry will continue to increase, forming the development pattern of tens of billions of leading, 100 billion clusters, and trillion industries.”This goal, the characteristics of industrial characteristics, characteristic industrialization, and promotion are the three core starting points.
In order to better implement the “Guidance Opinions”, the China Food Industry Association and Jingdong Group announced that they will jointly promote the characteristic food industry accelerator to assist local governments to accelerate the development of local specialty food industry, create characteristic industrial clusters, and give full play to the food industry one after another.The three leading role of the three, cultivating new momentum of economic growth, helping rural rejuvenation and common prosperity.
The specialty food industry accelerator will use the resource advantages of the China Food Association and Jingdong Group. It will help local governments to cultivate special food industry clusters in the food industry planning, industrial cluster co -construction, corporate brand cultivation, and industrial investment promotion, and drive the development of the local economy.
